Questions
to ask your Dog Day Care Provider:
What is the square footage allocated per dog in the Day Care area?
(A consortium of dog day care providers recommends at least 100
square feet per dog to minimize potential conflicts caused by
overcrowding)
How experienced is your staff? (Many
day care facilities use staff with little or no training)
What disaster plan do you have in
place? (We keep sufficient food and water on site to sustain the
pets in our care for 3 to 5 days.)
